Carpe Shar-Pei (Seize the Wrinkled Dog)

Cha-Ching Morrow

One of the most gentle and loving Shar-Pei you will ever meet. Cha-Ching was our first Shar-Pei. We got him as a tiny seven pound puppy. His name, Cha-Ching, is the sound that a cash register makes because we figured that this puppy was expensive to buy and expensive to keep. We were wrong. Although more expensive than a pound puppy initially, we could not have asked for a better value. Cha-Ching made us fall in love with the breed. He greets us when we come home, is on constant guard for his family while at home, visits the convalescence centers, travels with us on vacations, and cares for our younger pets.

All animals, except man, know that the principal business of life is to enjoy it -- and they do enjoy it as much as man and other circumstances will allow.
