Patty O'Furniture

Patty was a cockatiel, though he never thought he was. He thought he was human, like everyone else. Patty thought he had super-human strength, like Superman. He could, after all, fly like Superman. That is why he thought he was kept in the cage with kryptonite bars. The bars must have been made of kryptonite, otherwise, he would have bent them out of his way, and escaped.

Patty was also interested in web design and created his own web page. You can see it here.

Patty O'Furniture was born on St. Patrick's Day, 1977. An Irish boy of immigrant parents, he became a pet to a young New York girl who was 18 years old. Becoming a pet was his career choice. The ink quill business has been decimated by the invention of the ball point pen and the ducks had taken over the pillow stuffing business entirely. So the career as a pet was one of the few career choices Patty could make. Patty became a fine pet, eating bird seed and throwing seed casings everywhere, chewing up perches, molting, whistling, chirping, flying about, attacking the cat, and finally pooping on people, but only if they were wearing a clean shirt. Pat was everything one could want in a pet. Patty had a long career, 26 years, not a record, but quite a long life for a cockatiel. He will be missed.

If you eliminate smoking and gambling, you will be amazed to find that almost all an Englishman's pleasures can be, and mostly are, shared by his dog.
